Cavuto to Obama: It Wasn’t Fox News, ‘You Were the Reason’ People Were Angry

cavutoFox News’ Neil Cavuto ended his show today by scolding President Obama for saying Democrats lost this year, in part, because of “Fox News in every bar and restaurant.”

Cavuto first got personal by talking about his open heart surgery and how he had to take personal responsibility for his health. “Denial is deadly,” he said, “so forgive me when I see the same reaction from President Obama.”

He said that the president can’t seem to fathom that he himself might be why Hillary Clinton lost, saying, “Fox News didn’t create this populist wave, your policies did.”

Maybe, Cavuto offered, a continuation of Obama policies wasn’t what the people wanted. he said, “You were the reason they were anxious.”

“Fox News didn’t win an election, Mr. President,” Cavuto concluded, “you lost it… Sometimes the toughest part is looking in the mirror and the only guy looking back is you.”
