‘This Is Uncharted Waters’: Cooper Presses Kellyanne Conway on Taiwan Call

cooper-conwayPresident-elect Donald Trump‘s call with Taiwan has set the political world ablazed, and Anderson Cooper pressed Kellyanne Conway on the unprecedented nature of the call.

Conway wouldn’t provide more comment beyond what has already been publicly said about the call, and Cooper asked her if Trump is looking at his briefing papers before speaking with world leaders.

Conway said Trump has access to all of that information. Cooper asked, “Does he use it, though?”

Conway answered, “OF course he uses it.”

Cooper kept asking about whether this call represents “a break in U.S. policy,” calling this “uncharted waters.”

Conway said this was not about trying to “make policy” and said they are sensitive to the fact that Trump is not the president yet.
