If you were wondering who would score the last TV interview with First Lady Michelle Obama while she’s still in the White House, look no further.
In a special that will first be aired on CBS December 19th and two nights later on OWN, Oprah Winfrey will conduct a one-on-one interview with FLOTUS.
According to Variety, the interview will cover a wide range of subjects, such as what Mrs. Obama plans on doing upon exiting the White House.
In “First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House — An Oprah Winfrey Special,” Winfrey will speak to the First Lady in the First Family’s private residence about life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and her eight years as First Lady of the United States, the legacy she’ll leave behind, and her plans for the future.
Hmmm, perhaps we’ll hear if Michelle is thinking about a future in politics, something a number of liberals have started fantasizing about since her well-received DNC speech and fiery rallies on behalf of Hillary Clinton.
Oprah is no stranger to the First Lady. She held a conversation with Mrs. Obama a few months ago at the United State of Women Summit. Winfrey also conducted an interview with FLOTUS shortly after the Obamas came to Washington for her O Magazine.
