In case you didn’t know, the dough used to make bread for Jimmy John’s sandwiches is really, really stretchy- enough to jump rope with. Unfortunately, this very practice, while probably fun, got a few employees at a Florida location of the sandwich chain fired, according to News4Jax.
The video, captured on Snapchat shows employees playing with the dough and jumping rope with it. Obviously this isn’t sanitary (though the dough was not used to make any bread for sandwiches), and the store took action.
Managers at the location spoke to News4Jax and said “Our investigation confirmed the dough used in the video video was immediately discarded after the incident, however we do not condone this behavior from our employees and appropriate action has been taken to prevent this from ever happening again.”
