According to the Washington Examiner, Laura Ingraham, is considering running Sen Tim Kaine’s seat.
Even though Ingraham won’t comment on the rumors, her business partner, Peter Anthony, has begun buying website domains for Ingraham to use should she decide to run.
The radio talk show host isn’t the only Republican interested in the Senate race. The Examiner reports Reps. Barbara Comstock and Dave Brat are considering a bid. There are also rumors that Carly Fiorina is also interested in running. Fiorina moved to Virginia after her failed 2010 California Senate bid.
The Examiner say’s Ingraham might have an advantage over some candidates because of her radio show and her news site Lifezette.com. But she sure seems to be trying very hard to be doing something else. Her name was even floated as a contender for Trump’s Press Secretary.
