There have been reports that Comey has wanted to testify publicly after President Trump fired him, and while there is no set date, the announcement says it will be set for after Memorial Day.
This week saw the news of an alleged Comey memo saying Trump asked him to end the Michael Flynn investigation, so he will almost certainly be asked about that and many other big issues.
