The Congressional Baseball Game scheduled for tomorrow is expected to proceed as planned, a day after the horrific shooting at the field where the GOP congressional team was practicing earlier today.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and two Capitol police officers were among those shot today, and both Speaker Paul Ryan and Nancy Pelosi delivered moving addresses from the House floor.

Ryan talked about the House being a family and said that “an attack on one of us is an attack on all of us,” and in that spirit of coming together, the game at Nationals Park tomorrow is set to proceed as planned:

The Congressional Baseball Game is an annual event that brings Democrats and Republicans together for a friendly game that raises money for charity. Tickets are still available for purchase here.
