McConnell Announces a Vote on Obamacare Repeal with 2-Year Delay After Current Bill Falters

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced late Monday that there will be a vote to repeal Obamacare:

He is planning on reviving a 2015 bill that was ultimately vetoed by then-President Obama for a full repeal of Obamacare with a two-year delay to “provide for a stable transition period to a patient-centered health care system that gives Americans access to quality, affordable health care.”

This comes just hours after the current health care bill lost the support of two more GOP senators, making it impossible for it to pass in the Senate.

President Trump tweeted his support for a standalone repeal earlier tonight, urging the Senate to start with a “clean slate”:
