After Jeffrey Lord Is Fired, Hannity and Stelter Mix It Up on Twitter Over Anti-Conservative Bias

Hours after he sent out a “Sieg Heil!” tweet during an online confrontation with Media Matters president Angelo Carusone, pro-Trump pundit Jeffrey Lord was canned by CNN. In a statement, a CNN spokesperson said that “Nazi salutes are indefensible.” For his part, Lord believes that the network is “caving to bullies.”

As one would expect, there was quite a bit of reaction to Lord’s firing on Twitter. And while he didn’t specifically mention Lord in his tweet this evening, it was pretty apparent what Fox News’ Sean Hannity was referencing.

Shortly after Hannity tossed that out, CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter responded, letting Hannity know that conservatives aren’t necessarily the only ones who have lost their jobs or dealt with investigations over controversial behavior or comments.

As of publication, Hannity hasn’t responded to Stelter. However, if the past is any indicator, Sean likely won’t stay mum for long.
