Week 6 of the NFL kicks off with a showdown between what appears to be two of the best teams in the NFC, as the Philadelphia Eagles head south for a matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
The Eagles (4-1) put an absolute thrashing on Arizona last week, defeating them 34-7 in a game which was never close. With Dallas and Washington struggling, and the Giants’ season all but over, the NFC East appears to be Philadelphia’s to lose. As long as quarterback Carson Wentz and the offense keep lighting up the scoreboard, the Eagles figure to be tough to beat.
Carolina (4-1) comes in off of a pair of terrific road wins. The Panthers followed up a Week 3 victory over the Patriots with a Week 4 conquest of the Lions at Ford Field. Their tough slate continues with the Thursday matchup against Philadelphia. But at least this time, they’ll have the home fans behind them in Charlotte.
Kickoff is at 8:26 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on CBS and the NFL Network, which will stream the action on its website. CBS’s Jim Nantz and Tony Romo have the call. Use the NFL Mobile app to watch on your phone or tablet. That app can be downloaded from the Apple’s iTunes Store, and the Google Play store. A cable subscription is required for the free stream. Also, the game will be streamed via Amazon for Amazon Prime members.
