On Thursday, Academy Award-winning actress Emma Thompson went on record saying that the Harvey Weinstein scandal was just the tip of the iceberg in the entertainment industry. Hours after her comments, explosive new sexual harassment charges have come out against another Hollywood power player.
According to a bombshell story by The Hollywood Reporter, Roy Price, the head of Amazon Studios, made harassing comments to Isa Hackett — a producer on the Amazon show The Man in the High Castle
“You will love my d*ck,” Price allegedly told Hackett in July 2015.
Hackett, according to The Hollywood Reporter, claims Price repeatedly propositioned her while they were in a taxi en route to an Amazon Studios party following a promotional event in San Diego. Hackett refused Price’s advances, but she claims he continued to harass her once they arrived at the party.
“Anal sex!” Price said to Hackett loudly in her ear, according to the High Castle producer.
Shortly after the publication of The Hollywood Reporter‘s article, Amazon announced that Price was being suspended.
“Roy Price is on leave of absence effective immediately,” an Amazon spokesperson said, according to THR
