President Donald Trump‘s now-infamous comments (in which he allegedly referred to El Salvador, Haiti and African nations as “shithole countries”) have finally made their way to Fox News’ Outnumbered.
The gang discussed the reported remarks this afternoon and were fairly candid in their assessment -0- with guest Juan Williams saying he does not give “any credibility” to Trump denying the comments on Twitter.
The conversation, however, was shortly taken over by Rachel Campos Duffy,. And she placed the blame for the entire incident on the shoulders of… Democrats.
Campos-Duffy took issue with the fact that the comments leaked at all.
“I still have a problem with people in a private meeting going out and saying what the president said,” she stated. “It makes our country look bad. I think the Democrats in this case should have used some discretion, even if he did say that, maybe for the sake of the country.”
Campos-Duffy did follow up by conceding that Trump “probably” made the controversial comments.
She also defended the president, sort of, by saying “This is a 70-year-old man. He speaks in a certain way that is very impolitic. It’s very un-PC and who among us hasn’t said an un-PC thing?”
It must be noted, there were both Republicans and Democrats in that Oval Office meeting and nobody knows who leaked the comments in the first place.
