Police are investigating a shooting at the National Security Agency campus in Fort Meade, Maryland on Wednesday morning.
Cops arrested a man after a black SUV rammed into a barrier outside the NSA headquarters, and bullet holes could be seen in the car’s windshield.
Per Fort Meade garrison spokeswoman Cheryl Phillips:
“NSA police and local law enforcement are addressing an incident that took place this morning at one of NSA’s security vehicle entry gates. The situation is under control and there’s no ongoing security or safety threat,” an NSA statement said.
A White House spokesperson said that President Donald Trump has been briefed on the shooting:

News helicopter footage of the scene showed the police to the shooting, as well as the black SUV that crashed into a barrier outside the facility’s secure vehicle entry gates, per AP. Bullet holes could be seen in the car’s windshield, as well as bloodied materials strewn around the SUV.
