Following Laura Ingraham‘s attacks against a survivor of the Parkland school shooting, Nutrish has decided to cut their advertisements from her program.
Earlier this week, the Fox opinion host went after student gun control activist David Hogg by mocking him for not getting accepted by some of the colleges to which he applied. Ingraham’s Twitter snipe drew significant outrage from those who accused her of slamming Hogg personally rather than expressing disagreement with his political position.
Hogg responded to Ingraham by calling for a boycott against the biggest businesses who run ads on her show. Nutrish was among those Hogg called out, and the Rachel Ray-created pet food brand decided to take their commercials off Ingraham’s show.
We are in the process of removing our ads from Laura Ingraham’s program.
