While his The Five colleague Juan Williams questioned why Sean Hannity didn’t disclose his legal relationship with Trump attorney Michael Cohen when advocating on the air for the president, Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld brushed off today’s bombshell revelation as no big deal. And took great joy in ridiculing the media world’s online reaction to the news.
“Leave it to Sean to be part of a scandal and have the least salacious part,” Gutfeld said. “His stuff is so common sense. I love this — I loved it so much for you to go on Twitter. Everybody was convulsing with joy over this news.”
He continued, “They thought we have another scalp. It’s going to be amazing. These little blue check comrades together hoping — seeing this is going to be the best day ever.”
Gutfeld went on to state that these kinds of stories never end up being like they want and that they end up feeling deflated.
“All of that energy spent on hoping that somebody you don’t like is destroyed shows how petty you are,” he concluded.
