Prior to adult film star Stormy Daniels’ appearance on today’s broadcast of The View, her attorney Michael Avenatti hyped the already much-anticipated interview by stating that they will release a composite sketch of the man who Daniels claims threatened her in 2011.
This morning on @TheView, @stormydaniels and I will release the composite sketch of the thug who threatened my client and her little girl in Las Vegas. This is a search for the truth. #thugsearch #justice #basta

During her 60 Minutes interview, the porn actress said that a man approached her and her young daughter in a parking lot and threatened her to stay quiet about her alleged affair with Donald Trump. At the time, Daniels had agreed to tell her story to InTouch Magazine. The publication has said they didn’t run the piece because Trump attorney Michael Cohen threatened to sue the outlet.
In her first live television interview, Daniels recounted and expanded on the story she told Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes. She noted that the man’s face is burned in her memory and that at the moment it occurred, she wasn’t scared because it was so shocking.
“I was like, wait, that didn’t go like I thought it was going to,” she told the hosts. “When I got in the elevator to go up to the floor, I remember I leaned against the wall because I couldn’t feel my feet or my face because I think it really sunk in what he said.”
After a commercial break, Daniels and Avenatti revealed the composite sketch that an artist composed from her description. She pointed out that she didn’t go to police at that time because she was both frightened and the man had expressly told her not to tell anyone.
Avenatti pointed out that the sketch artist is Lois Gibson, who is well-respected and has done hundreds of detailed sketches. He also provided viewers an email address to send information and tips.
(Immediately after the sketch hit, folks on Twitter began joking that the man looks a lot like Tom Brady.)
Daniels is currently suing Trump and Cohen over the nondisclosure agreement she signed in 2016 in exchange for $130,000 in hush money. The adult film actress is claiming the NDA is invalid because Trump never signed the agreement. She is also accusing Cohen of defamation over comments the Trump attorney has made about her and the alleged 2006 encounter she had with the president.
Meanwhile, details about the hush payment made to Daniels were among the records seized by the feds during the FBI raid on Cohen’s office and hotel room last week.
