All righty. Here we are in topsy-turvy land where Alec Baldwin says he’d win if he ran for president.
The actor and notorious Trump impersonator told radio’s Howard Stern that he’d “one-thousand percent” win the election if he ran against the real thing in 2020.
“It would be the funniest, most exciting, most crazy campaign,” he added.
Stern suggested that Baldwin might be the hope of the Democratic party (Heaven help us), but Baldwin quickly cut him off and said, “I’m not.” (Whew!)
“I only say that because people don’t really have a sense of who’s gonna come about,” Baldwin explained. “Somebody great’s gonna come about, but… I’d love to run for that kind of position just to have things be very common sense.”
“There are so many things that this country needs to do that are so obvious,” he added.
Obvious like… these things were obvious?
When Baldwin talks about “somebody great” who’s going to come about, let’s hope he’s talking about a career Democrat.
Or Oprah. Everybody loves Oprah.
