Laura Ingraham had some harsh words for President Trump‘s critics as he holds his summit with North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un.
On the subject of the media’s coverage of the summit, liberal radio talk show host Chris Hahn told Ingraham that he thinks that “most people hope that this summit goes well” and will give Trump a “yay” if he secures a strong deal with North Korea.
The Fox News host then invoked Bill Maher‘s recent remarks about how he is “hoping” for another recession” in order to get rid of Trump as well as Robert De Niro‘s bleeped tirade against the president at the Tony Awards over the weekend.
“This is where they are. The elites on the left want this president to fail,” Ingraham said. “To hell with nuclear war. If you have to have nuclear war to get Trump to fail, I think half of them are okay with that. I’m not exaggerating.”
Fox News contributor Dan Bongino agreed, calling it “bizarre.”
“We should really be thanking Di Nero and Bill Maher and Nancy Pelosi for her ‘whoop de doo’ and ‘crumbs’ comments about the economy,” Bongino said. “I know it’s painful to hear. It is. You hear it and you’re like ‘they can’t be this dumb,’ but they are. Because each time they say this, you can chalk up thousands of more people who are realizing what the Democrats really are and what they have been.”
