Fox News Contributor Says Giuliani, Sekulow Guest-Hosting for Hannity Is a ‘New Level of Coziness’

Fox News contributor Guy Benson said on MediaBuzz today he was a little stunned by President Donald Trump‘s lawyers filling in for Sean Hannity on the radio.

Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow guest-hosted Hannity’s radio program, raising a number a baffling questions about the Trump-media nexus.

Benson first noted that Giuliani gives very “colorful interviews,” noting the problems that have arisen so far from his constant media appearance. He specifically recalled Giuliani’s last-minute call-in to Outnumbered after Benson, who was guest-hosting, raised some issues about comments he made earlier in the day.

Kurtz noted the radio guest-hosting gig, to which Benson said this:

“That was extraordinary. I had to do a double take when I saw that first reported. Hannity––look, we know that Hannity is very cozy with Team Trump. That’s no secret, and no one’s trying to say otherwise. Having the Trump… legal team guest host your radio show is a new level of coziness, I guess.”
